Five different musical groups combined in an informal family concert to raise money for the Coventry and Warwickshire Children’s Charity. Joining Coventry Cathedral Chorus were the Brass Band of Central England, the boy choristers of Coventry Cathedral, and a local primary school choir.
Everyone sang and played their hearts out, nor lest the fifth ensemble, as the audience joined in some popular well known carols.
Coventry Cathedral Chorus is joined in the Cathedral by Orchestra Pro Anima and four distinguished soloists in its annual performance of Messiah this coming Monday, 16 December. The performance begins at 7.00pm and you can book your ticket here, saving £5 on the cost of a ticket bought on the door.
